    Delivery & Payment

    We can deliver your goods to any address, home or place of work. Please ensure you complete the desired delivery address during the checkout process.
    If you are unable to accept your delivery, you will be left instructions on how to retrieve your parcel. If you have any problems with your delivery, please contact the customer Care Team at sales@1stch.co.uk or by telephoning 01283 224 454.

    Pre-Christmas Delivery

    For delivery before 25th December 2013, please ensure you place your order before the following times:

    • UK Delivery - 1pm, Friday 19th December 2014
    • Europe Delivery - 1pm, Thursday 18th December 2014
    • Rest of World Delivery - 1pm, Wednesday 17th December 2014

    Delivery charges

    We offer free delivery on all our consumable items. This offer excludes international delivery and delivery of our larger items and heavy duty machinery, such as our range of Nilfisk Park Ranger, Industrial Floor Cleaners, Hand Dryers and Industrial Matting.     Delivery information

    Our products are generally delivered by courier or post. If your product is delivered by courier you may be given the option of choosing a premium delivery service for a small extra charge during the order process. We will notify you which delivery method we will use when we send you the ‘Order Confirmation’ email. Very occasionally different products with the same delivery method may be delivered separately.

    Track your order

    If your order is delivered by courier you can track your parcel by clicking on the link in your ‘Order Confirmation’ email. All deliveries must be signed for. If you are out when the courier arrives, a card will be left with a contact number for you to call to rearrange delivery. If your orders delivered via Royal Mail you will be unable to track the delivery, however you should expect your order in the post within the next few days after it has been placed.

    Missing, Damaged or Incorrect Orders

    We try very hard to ensure that you receive your order in pristine condition. If you do not receive all of your products, please check that they have been dispatched using our tracking facility detailed in our confirmation email. If your order is not on its way to you, either log in to My Account and use the Contact Us facility or telephone 01283 224 454. In the unlikely event that a product arrives damaged or faulty, please follow the instructions in the delivery documents.

    Returns and Cancellations Policy for business sales

    Should you wish to return your goods we will do so according to our terms and conditions. You will need to contact us to confirm what items are to be returned and the reason for the return. Goods are to be returned in their original condition and packaging within 14 days of purchase. Opened items will only be accepted if the item/s are faulty. We will refuse returns sent to us in an unacceptable condition.
    You will be responsible for the original and return delivery costs; we will exchange or refund your purchase up to 28 days following the day of return to us.

    We will exchange your products or refund your purchase up to 28 days following the day of delivery to us. This includes original shipping costs, however you are responsible for the return delivery costs.

    Distance Selling Regulations

    If you open the goods to inspect them, you can cancel your purchase up to 7 working days* following the day of delivery.
    You can cancel your purchase by:

    1. Using the ‘Contact Us’ email facility, stating your instructions to us and your order reference number.
    2. Phoning us on 01283 224 454 with your order reference number and delivery details to hand, * "working days" means all days other than Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays. If cancelling your purchase under the Distance Selling Regulations, your product must be complete and in 'as new' condition. If you have opened the box to examine the product you must have done so without damaging or marking the product or packaging. The product must not have been used or installed and data must not have been inputted. It should be returned with the original box and packaging.

1st Class Hygiene Ltd currently charges VAT at the rate of 20%. All customers shopping from within the EU will see prices with VAT automatically included. You will receive a breakdown of VAT charges on your order confirmation.

    Paying For Your Order


    Cards

    Payments must be made at the time of placing an order. 1st Class Hygiene Ltd payment pages are held on Barclays secure servers and as such we do not retain any of your credit card information. 1st Class Hygiene Ltd is confident this provides the most secure method of handling your credit card payment.

    Barclays will carry out the necessary card verification processes and we will check your contact details and availability of the goods on receipt of your order. If we are unable to supply any goods for any reason, we will inform you as soon as possible and we will provide you with a refund for these goods within 14 days.

    The price to be paid for your order is that displayed at the final checkout stage. This amount will be confirmed once you have entered the Barclays payment gateway.

    Once your payment has been authorised, it will be debited. You will receive confirmation of payment and your unique order number via email. If your payment is not authorised, you may be given the opportunity to try again or use a different payment method. No payment will be deemed to have been received until we have received cleared funds. Payment may be charged before we despatch your order.

    If you order goods from our site for delivery outside the UK, the order may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied when the delivery reaches the specified destination. You will be responsible for payment of any such import duties and taxes. Please note that we do not have control over these charges and cannot predict their amount. Please contact your local Customs Office for further information before placing your order.

    Bank Transfer

    If you are making payment via bank transfer please be aware your goods will not be dispatched until the bank transfer has been made. If we have not received the funds within 48 hours of you placing your order, the order will be cancelled. The price to be paid for your order is displayed at the final checkout stage.
